July 14, 2011 Update...

Finally, it has been a long week, but a consultation appointment with Neurology Doctor is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:30. Many prayers will be needed. Especially for Mom's strength to face all the fear that she is experiencing right now. This stupid stuff is too much! Like she said, only stupid stuff happens to her!

July 11, 2011 Update...

News but maybe not news. Mom got a call from Neurology and the case is in their hands.

I am not sure she understands what or where things are with this. So, I feel like we are still waiting to hear news. I hope an appointment gets scheduled soon, so we can go and learn more about what and where this case is.

July 10, 2011 Update....

No real news at this point, but just want to keep track. And if you are interested in catching up, you can catch up here.

Mom went for her MRI on Wednesday July 6, 2011

She got a call on July 8, but had to return the call on July 9, because they closed before she got home. She consented to have her case referred to a neural surgeon. So, no real news yet, but things are moving along.

Last weekend we went shopping to lancaster before the 4th. She was very distracted with being scared, but we all are scared. We had a nice July 4th in Kulpmont with the family. And I took a few days to be up and around.

This weekend Mom and Dad did not have to serve at any masses, so they came down to my house and Mom and I went shopping again.
We had fun, splashed in the one fountain in heat. But I should know better, she had a squirt bottle and she got me good :).

We had some dinner, snacks, nice walks with the pooches. It was great just hanging out.

So, at this point we wait some more to hear more information as to where things are leading.

What this is about

I think I am going to use this to share news about what is going on with my Mom, Audy.

She experienced a Transient Global Amnesia episode June 11, 2011. She went to the doctor on June 14 and they told her it was a TGA episode and that they want her to go for a scan. She went on June 17, 2011 for a scan and they did see something.

On July 6, 2011 she will be going for an MRI. So, stay tuned and I will try to blog through this. I will make sure I am as confidential as I can, but will share what needs to be shared and hopefully this will be shared out with all her friends and family soon.

Now, to only find the picture of the darn yellow socks. And make this a yellow socks movement!
